This release introduces two new widgets for the homepage: 'Featured Tag' allows you to display posts by a specific tag, while 'Featured Posts' enables you to select and reorder specific posts regardless of their category or tag.

Improved post Views counter

This update enhances the post Views counter to provide more accurate visitor counts and resolves issues with the Popular Recipes widget filters. It also improves user feedback when there are no viewed posts.

  • the post Views counter now counts each visitor once per 24 hours, instead of counting every page refresh. Views by editors and bots are no longer counted
  • the Popular Recipes (View Count) widget displays a message when there are no viewed posts yet

  • the post Views counter was not counting visitors on sites using a full-page caching plugin
  • the “This Month” and “This Week” filters in the Popular Recipes (View Count) widget were including posts from previous years
