Enhanced post Views counter

This release improves the post Views counter to count each visitor once per 24 hours, ensuring more accurate statistics. Additionally, it fixes issues with caching plugins and the Popular Recipes widget filters.

  • the post Views counter now counts each visitor once per 24 hours, instead of counting every page refresh. Views by editors and bots are no longer counted

  • the post Views counter was not counting visitors on sites using a full-page caching plugin
  • the “This Month” and “This Week” filters in the Popular Recipes (View Count) widget were including posts from previous years

  • New “Post Layout” option in Theme Options → Single Post Options: set the default layout (Sidebar on the right or Full Width) for all single blog posts. The per-post Post Layout setting now has a “Default (Theme Options)” choice that follows this global value.
  • New “Content Width (Full-Width Posts)” option: when a post is shown without a sidebar, choose a narrower, centered reading width — Full Width (1140px), Medium (960px), or Narrow / Centered (750px). The featured image stays full-bleed at the top for a magazine-style hero, while the body text reads at the chosen width.
