“Editorial” Theme Style — a minimal black & white video magazine design with thin & bold typography (Inter Tight), hairline borders, a wider 1400px layout, large 16:9 video cards and a fixed navigation bar on scroll. Editorial is now the default style for new installs (existing sites keep their current style; switch anytime in Theme Options > General > Theme Style)
“Cinematic” Slider Style — full-width slider with the blurred featured image as a background and the content overlaid on top. Now the default Slider Style (Theme Options > Homepage > Slider Style); the previous boxed design remains available as “Classic”
the featured slider now runs on Swiper — modern touch/mouse dragging on both the main slider and the thumbnail carousel, with a draggable 16:9 thumbnail rail with captions in the Editorial style (visible on mobile too)
rebuilt mobile menu — a single hamburger button with accordion submenus at any depth, replacing the two separate mobile menus
optional “Mobile Menu” location (Appearance > Menus) — assign a menu there to show it instead of the Main Menu on mobile devices

pure-CSS dropdown menus with keyboard support, replacing the Superfish script
mobile slider navigation — always-visible arrows over the video and pagination dots on all screen sizes
footer widget columns now use CSS grid — even spacing at every column count and screen size
Performance: removed the jQuery FlexSlider, mmenu, Superfish, FitVids and Modernizr libraries (~150KB of legacy JavaScript and ~2,300 lines of CSS)
Performance: slider assets now load only on pages that display the slider; the video lightbox script only loads when the option is enabled; icon fonts are no longer loaded on the front end ⚠️ Make sure to clear the cache in your caching/optimization plugins after updating. If you relied on the Top Menu appearing inside the mobile menu, add those items to your Main Menu or assign a dedicated Mobile Menu.
