Improved post Views counter
This release improves the post Views counter to count each visitor once per 24 hours and fixes issues with caching plugins and popular post sorting. These enhancements ensure more accurate visitor tracking and better content visibility.
Improved
- the post Views counter now counts each visitor once per 24 hours, instead of counting every page refresh. Views by editors and bots are no longer counted
Fixed
- the post Views counter was not counting visitors on sites using a full-page caching plugin
- the “Popular” sorting on the homepage with the “This Week” time period was excluding some posts from the current week
