Presence 2.0: Beaver Builder Integration, Dark Skin & More!

Great news for the users of Presence — our multipurpose theme.

We have finally released the long-awaited 2.0 version, which features major changes and improvements.

What’s new in Presence 2.0?

  • Beaver Builder Integration
  • Dark Skin
  • New Demo: Organic Shop
  • New Typography and Colors options in the Customizer
  • New Templates in Page Builder

Beaver Builder Integration

If you have followed recent major updates we did in the past months to our other themes, you’ll notice that we have replaced the previously used Page Builder with Beaver Builder.

It’s not a secret that we’re big fans of Beaver Builder. Since we also created a free plugin with additional add-ons for this page builder, it seemed logical to integrate it with the Presence theme as well.

If you’re a new WPZOOM customer or maybe you’re confused about the term “Page Builder integration”, I will make a small clarification.

Both Elementor and Beaver Builder are great page builders, and our themes fully support both of them.

A few years ago, when we did a small research to see which Page Builder should we recommend to our customers, we decided that Beaver Builder is the best option. We liked the way it allows theme developers to bundle pre-made templates in the themes, so this really helped us provide our customers with an easy way to replicate the demos.

Presence 2.0 includes 18 page templates that can be easily loaded using Beaver Builder:

You will find templates for different niches: Hotel, Business, Education, Fitness, Music, Church, Events. More templates will be available in future updates!

Dark Color Scheme

We know that Dark Modes are a thing for quite some time, so we decided to follow the trend in the new update as well.

In the Customizer > Color Scheme you will find now a new Dark style which you can easily enable on your website.

Updated Typography options

Customizer Improvements

The new 2.0 version brings new options in the Theme Customizer.

We’ve improved the Typography section with new font options like “letter-spacing” or the ability to change the font size on different devices.

Several new color options have been also added in the Colors section of the customizer. This will give you more control when customizing the theme.

Multiple Fixes and Improvements

The new version of Presence comes with other improvements in terms of flexibility and not only.

We’ve added the ability to re-order easily the featured content displayed in the Slideshow on the homepage. If you’re showing Posts, Pages or Slideshow items, then you will find a new page called “Re-order” where you can easily re-order them:

Bonus note: the documentation of the theme is now more structured and easy to use.

FAQ

What happens with the Unyson integration?
If you’re using the Unyson Page Builder on your website, then it’s optional for you to switch to Beaver Builder.
Presence 2.0 will not affect any of your pages created in Unyson and everything will continue to work just like before. However, we recommend migrating to Beaver Builder and re-build all your pages as we’ll stop supporting Unyson. As we’ve already mentioned, it’s an outdated plugin and some things just don’t depend on us.

Is there an easy way to migrate Unyson pages to Beaver Builder?
Unfortunately, no. However, you can easily insert in pages pre-built layouts in Beaver Builder > Templates.

The new update is available for all existing customers. If you have already activated your license key and enabled 1-click theme updates, head over to your WordPress Dashboard and update your theme.
