It’s not every day you get a mention on WPTavern; to the uninitiated, WPTavern is the go-to place for WordPress news, opinion, and in our case, a review.
Justin Tadlock recently compiled an article called Digging Into Recipe Card Blocks, the team at WPZOOM welcomes constructive feedback.
Feedback can help developers make their products even better by listening and taking on board viewpoints.
One key point that Justin made in the article/review was the footer credit that mentions Recipe Card Blocks By WPZOOM.
The free version for Recipe Card Blocks is just that, free, still packed full of features, with an upgrade to the pro version for even more. The footer link was a bone of contention for Justin Tadlock, so the team assembled (cue Avengers music).
The WPZOOM Team Takes Action
Taking on board Justin’s comments about this matter, Pavel and the team decided to change the free version’s footer credit.
From now on (by default), the credit link will not be shown; instead, you can show your support by enabling it or hide it completely. See below:
As a user of the free version of Recipe Card Blocks, we appreciate you downloading and using our plugin; a lot of time and effort went into making Recipe Card Blocks.
We don’t expect you to show the credit link if you do, great. We appreciate you helping and getting the word out. If not, we’re not going to hold it against you.
The choice is yours entirely, so if the footer link put you off in the past from using the Recipe Card Blocks plugin, rest assured it has been remedied, and feel free to download the free version.
If you’re using the free version of our plugin and would like to remove the footer credit, please update it to the latest version; it will automatically be removed upon updating.
If you’re looking to upgrade to the pro version, or keen to know the difference between the two, you can find out more about that here.
We want to thank all the Recipe Card Blocks users for their support and hope that this will be a welcomed addition. We have more exciting plans on the horizon, so stay tuned.
