In the last few months we’ve been so busy updating older themes, that we almost forgot to release new ones too. Today we are pleased to announce our new theme – Insight.
Theme Features
- Draggable & Touch Slideshow
- 3 Color Schemes
- Widgetized Homepage
- Featured Categories
- Responsive & Retina ready
- Visual Customizer
- Supercharged by Jetpack
- More features can be found on the theme’s page
Responsive Layout
Insight boasts a fluid, responsive layout, so your articles will display beautifully across mobile devices. Images and galleries scale up and down seamlessly when resizing the browser window. No matter what the resolution or screen size, the theme will be usable and look professional in every detail.
Homepage Builder using Widgets
Building the homepage area with featured categories can be fun! Just drag as many widgets you want and the theme will automatically adapt them in each widgetized area. You can also display posts in full-width showing the Featured Image as background.
Use a Pre-defined Color Scheme or Create Your Own
Insight theme comes packaged with 3 pre-defined minimal color schemes which you can quickly change from Theme Options. Don’t like any of them? Just use the customization options from the Live Customizer to change each color as you want.
Two Styles for Posts: Grid and List
The theme also allows you to select your default post view. One of them will display posts in a grid, while the other one in a more regular blog view with the Featured Image at the top.
For more information about Insight theme see theme page or take a look at the live demo.

Nice Theme. Is it possible to keep the Navigation fixed on top?

Hello Renato,
Yes, it’s possible to add a few CSS lines in the theme and the menu will be fixed at the top. We’ll provide this modification for free.

Will this work with bbPress? That’s the only requirement that I have that this theme doesn’t have. Looks really nice, though.

Charlie,
Yes, the theme is compatible with bbPress.

Wonderful. Have it installed and have worked 10 full hours now filling it. It came at the perfect time for me.
If ever you decide to make a 1.1 here’s a thing I would love:
The theme makes great use of categories for a grid layout. But it would be nice to be able to add a category listing to a page (maybe as a short code). So you can build a category listing with sort of a pre header containing text and images.
Ie I would make this into a page instead:

So that I could have a featured image and explanation for the category.
Anyway, great work. Well worth my money,

Hello Mattias,
I’m glad you like the theme! Not sure if you have noticed, but we’ve already released a 1.1 version that includes WooCommerce support. We’ll consider adding your suggestions in the next version!
P.S. don’t forget to let us know the URL of your website when it’s ready.

Astonishing theme!!
Just one question: can I move the sidebar on the right to the left in the homepage?
Thanks!
