By default, portfolio grids sorted by Default follow a manual order you control — so your best projects can always come first, regardless of publish date.
The Re-order screen
Go to Portfolio → Re-order.
Drag and drop the items into the order you want.
Click Save Order (or Reset Order to go back to date-based ordering).
How it interacts with the block
The custom order applies wherever the Portfolio block’s Order By is set to Default (the default) — see Portfolio Block Options.
Other choices (Newest to Oldest, A → Z, Random…) ignore the manual order.
On WPZOOM themes with a built-in portfolio (Inspiro and friends), ordering is handled by the theme and this screen may not appear under the Portfolio menu.
