Managing and Customizing Forms in WPZOOM Forms

This article refers to WPZOOM Forms

When you install WPZOOM Forms PRO, a basic example form is created automatically to help you get started. This guide covers how to access and customize your forms using the block editor.

Viewing Existing Forms

To view and manage your forms:

  1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to WPZOOM FormsAll Forms.
  2. Here you’ll see a list of all forms on your website. Each row shows the form title, shortcode, number of views, submissions, conversion rate, and the date the form was published.
  3. Click on a form title to open and edit it.

General Form Settings

Clicking on a form title opens the block editor where you can configure general settings. In the right sidebar (under the Form block settings), you’ll find:

Form Name – Change the name for your internal reference.

Form Method – Choose how form submissions are handled:

  • Email Only – Sends submission details to your email address. Entries are not saved in the dashboard.
  • Save to Database Only – Stores entries in the WordPress dashboard but does not send emails.
  • Save to Database & Email – Stores entries and sends them to your inbox. (Recommended for most cases)

Send To – Set a recipient email for form notifications (default: site admin email).

Success Message – The message displayed after a successful form submission.

Failure Message – The message displayed when an error occurs.

After Submission – Choose what happens after the form is submitted:

  • Show Message (default option)
  • Redirect to URL

Customize Notification Email – Open the email template editor to adjust how submission details are formatted and displayed in the notification email.

Adding Form Fields

To add new fields to a form:

  1. Open a form in the editor.
  2. Select the form block to reveal the form settings sidebar.
  3. In the Form Fields panel, click on a field type to insert it, or drag and drop it into your desired position.

Available fields include: Text, Email, Phone, Message, Select, Checkbox, Radio, Website, Date, Upload, and more.

Editing Form Fields

Click any field to view and update its individual settings in the right sidebar:

  • Placeholder – Optional text shown inside the field.
  • Label – Field title visible to users.
  • Required – Toggle to make the field mandatory.

Some fields include additional options:

Email Field:

Is Reply-To Address – Marks this field as the reply-to address in form submission notification emails.

Subject Field:

Is Subject – Marks this field as the email subject for the form submission notification emails.

You can also rearrange field order by dragging them within the editor.
