Getting Started with WPZOOM Forms PRO PRO

This article refers to WPZOOM Forms

WPZOOM Forms PRO is the premium version of WPZOOM Forms, the drag-and-drop form builder for WordPress. This guide walks you through downloading and installing the PRO plugin, activating your license, and finding your way around the WPZOOM Forms screens. (Already using the free version from WordPress.org? Your forms and settings carry over — see the note in step 1.)

  5. Free vs PRO

Installing WPZOOM Forms PRO

  1. Sign in to your WPZOOM account and open Your Downloads (click Click to expand to list all products).
Your Downloads
  1. Find WPZOOM Forms PRO and click Download to get the plugin ZIP.
Download WPZOOM Forms PRO
  1. In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
Upload the plugin
  1. A WPZOOM Forms item appears in the sidebar, and an Example Form is created for you.

Coming from the free WPZOOM Forms? Install PRO alongside it — PRO is a complete, standalone plugin and deactivates the free version automatically when it loads. Forms, submissions and settings are shared, so nothing needs to be migrated; you can delete the free plugin afterwards.

Activating the license key

The license unlocks plugin updates and the AI form generator (all other PRO features work immediately after activation).

  1. Copy your key from the License Keys section of the WPZOOM Members Area.
  2. Go to WPZOOM Forms → License Key, paste it and click Save & Activate License Key.
License Key page

The page then shows the status (Active, with the expiry or “lifetime”), and lets you Deactivate the key (to move it to another site) or Refresh License Status. If the key is missing or expired you’ll see an admin notice and the plugin update will say “activate your license key to download this update”.

Forms themselves are built in the full-screen Form Builder, which opens when you click a form or create a new one — see Getting to Know the WPZOOM Forms Builder.

Your first form in five minutes

  1. WPZOOM Forms → Add New Form → pick Contact Form → Use This Template.
  2. In the builder click Notifications and set Send notifications to your address; choose Email + Database so entries are also stored.
  3. Click Save, then Embed and copy the shortcode — or insert the Contact Form by WPZOOM block on a page. Details: Adding Forms to Pages, Posts, and Widgets.
  4. Submit a test entry on the live page and check WPZOOM Forms → Submissions and your inbox. No email? Use System Status → Test Email, then this guide.
  5. Turn on spam protection under Settings → Spam Protection — Spam Protection Guide.

Free vs PRO

Everything in these docs that is marked PRO — Number, Time, Upload, Hidden and GDPR fields, conditional logic, the AJAX submission, the email template editor and confirmation emails, Mailchimp, the AI generator, import/export and CSV export, System Status & Test Email, extra form styles and templates — needs WPZOOM Forms PRO. The full comparison table is on the WPZOOM Forms product page.
