Widget areas let you add content around your posts — in the sidebar, the header, below the homepage, and in the footer. This article lists Videozoom’s widget areas and the custom widgets the theme includes.
Sidebar — shown next to post listings and posts using the Sidebar on the right layout. You can hide it on the homepage and archives via Theme Options → Homepage → Show the Sidebar on Homepage and Archives?.
Homepage: Content Widgets — extra content sections below the Recent Posts on the homepage; ideal for the WPZOOM: Homepage Posts widget.
Header Social Icons — the top-bar icons area; add the widget from the free Social Icons Widget by WPZOOM plugin here.
Footer: Column 1–4 — the footer columns.
Theme widgets
Videozoom ships with three widgets of its own — find them in the widget picker:
WPZOOM: Homepage Posts — displays posts from a chosen category in the homepage content area; use several instances to build category sections (“Travel”, “Sport”, …).
WPZOOM: Recent Posts — a compact recent-posts list with thumbnails, for the sidebar or footer.
WPZOOM: Video Widget — embed one or more videos (by URL) in any widget area, with an optional playlist-style accordion.
Footer columns
The four footer areas render as a responsive CSS grid: columns are spaced evenly at every screen size, and only the columns that contain widgets are shown — so using just two areas gives you a clean two-column footer automatically.
