This guide walks you through installing the Videozoom theme, activating your license, and importing the demo content so your site looks like the theme demo from the start.
Table of Contents
videozoom.zip file you downloaded, and click Install Now.For more details, see the general guide on installing WPZOOM themes.
After activating the theme you’ll be prompted to enter your license key, which unlocks one-click demo import, theme updates, and premium features like the video trimming service used by Video Background on Hover.
Videozoom 5.0 supports the new WPZOOM Demo Importer, so you can set up your site exactly like the theme demo in one click:
The importer requires an active license key. See the full Demo Content Importer guide for more details and troubleshooting.
Tip: the demo posts are regular WordPress posts with video URLs added in the Post Options metabox — open a few of them in the editor to see how everything is configured, then replace them with your own videos.
Videozoom works with any well-coded plugin, but these pair especially well:
With an active license, theme updates appear in Dashboard → Updates and under Appearance → Themes, just like for plugins.
Updating from Videozoom 4.x to 5.0? Your current Theme Style is preserved — the new Editorial design is the default only for new installs. After updating, clear the cache in any caching/optimization plugins. If you relied on the Top Menu appearing inside the mobile menu, add those items to your Main Menu or assign a dedicated Mobile Menu.
