Tribune’s homepage sections and sidebars are built with widgets. Manage them in Appearance → Widgets.
Widget areas
Featured Area — the column next to the featured slider (the demo’s Latest News).
Sidebar — the site sidebar (position configurable in Theme Options → General → Sidebar Settings); the demo shows the WPZOOM: Tabs widget here with Most Commented / Most Viewed.
Homepage — the magazine sections below the featured area; stack WPZOOM: Featured Category widgets, with Custom HTML widgets between them for ads.
Footer (full-width) and Footer (column 1–4) — the footer areas.

The views counter
Tribune counts post views itself — no plugin needed — powering the Most Viewed widget and the optional views count on posts. Since version 4.2.17 the counter is accurate and cache-proof: each visitor counts once per 24 hours per post, editors and bots are ignored, and counting works with full-page caching plugins. On a new site the widget shows a short notice until views accumulate.
