In the following screenshot you can see how to build your Tabbed area in the Sidebar:
1. Place your widgets first in the WPZOOM: Tabs Widget Area. Our recommended plugins are: WPZOOM: Popular Recipes (view count) and WPZOOM: Popular Recipes (comments count).
Make sure to not insert too many widgets, as it’s recommended to have 2-4 widgets in it.
2. After that, insert the WPZOOM: Tabs widget in the Sidebar, in the location where you want the tabs to appear.
In Cookely demo we use the following plugins to add a newsletter bar at the top and a subscription widget on the homepage:
Mailchimp for WordPress – you can use this plugin to connect with your MailChimp account and add a newsletter form on the homepage, like in the demo.
Mailchimp Top Bar – this plugin allows to add a newsletter bar at the top of your website, as in the demo.
Newsletter Form on Homepage
In order to add a newsletter form on the homepage, as in the demo, you need to place your newsletter widget in the Homepage (Middle) widget area:
You can insert there any widget you want, as the theme works great with all of them. It can even be a different widget than a newsletter form.
If you don’t use MailChimp, you can use MailPoet plugin, which also includes a widget.
Below you can see a screenshot of the form used in the demo with the help of Mailchimp for WordPress plugin:
MailChimp Top Bar
If you want to display a top bar to let your visitors subscribe to your newsletter, you will need the Mailchimp Top Bar plugin, which is created by the same developers as Mailchimp for WordPress, so you will need both plugins installed.
There are 4 banner locations in this theme and you can manage them in Theme Options > Banners: Header Banner – appears at the top, above the logo. After First Post – appears after first Sticky post.
2. Activate the plugin and connect it with your Instagram account in Settings > Instagram Widget page:
3. Go to the Widgets page and add the Instagram Widget by WPZOOM widget in the Instagram Bar area:
4. In order for the Instagram bar to fill entire width with images, we recommend increasing the number of images to something like 14-20 and the Image size to 240px or larger:
