Prime News works with your latest posts on the front page (keep Settings → Reading on “Your latest posts”) and is assembled from the featured area, widget-driven category sections, and the Recent Posts loop.
Homepage structure
From top to bottom:
The Header Bar — the recent-posts carousel strip above the logo (a widget area; the demo uses the WPZOOM: Carousel Slider widget there).
The logo with Header Social Icons, then the main menu with the hamburger button that opens a sliding widget panel.
The Recent Posts section (your latest posts), the Footer Instagram Bar, and the footer columns.
Recent Posts options
In WPZOOM → Theme Options → Homepage → Recent Posts:
Hide Recent Posts on Homepage — for a fully widget-built, curated front page.
Title for Recent Posts, Exclude categories, and Hide Featured Posts in Recent Posts? (on by default).
The number of posts comes from Settings → Reading → Blog pages show at most.
What each post shows
Theme Options → General → Homepage Posts controls the homepage listing (Content: Excerpt/Full/None, excerpt length, featured image, category, author, date, comments count, Read More); Category Posts does the same for archives:
