Setting Up the Footer

This article refers to Inspiro Premium

The footer in Inspiro Premium is fully customizable and built using multiple widget areas. You can use it to display a variety of content—from contact details and navigation to social media feeds and custom widgets.

Manage footer content from Appearance → Widgets. The following widget areas are available for the footer:

  • Footer Column: 1
  • Footer Column: 2
  • Footer Column: 3
  • Footer Column: 4
  • Footer Social Icons
  • Footer Instagram Bar

The Footer Column 1–4 areas support all widget types, allowing you to add content using any default WordPress widget, WPZOOM widget, or third-party plugin.

The Footer Social Icons and Footer Instagram Bar are specifically intended for their respective widgets and may have limited compatibility with other types of blocks.

  1. Go to Appearance → Widgets
  2. Expand a footer widget area (e.g. Footer: Column 1)
  3. Click the “+” (Add Block) button
  4. Select a widget or block to insert and configure its settings
  5. Click Update to save your changes

Repeat the steps above for each widget area you want to populate.

Using the Classic Widgets Layout (Optional)

If you prefer the classic drag-and-drop widget interface:

  1. Go to WPZOOM → Theme Options → Miscellaneous → WordPress Features
  2. Check the option “Disable Block-based Widgets Screen”
  3. Go to Appearance → Widgets to access the classic widget panel

This view allows you to drag widgets from the Available Widgets section into any of the footer widget areas.

To adjust footer layout and design, go to Appearance → Customize → Footer

This section includes the following options:

  • Footer Logo – Upload or replace the logo that appears above or beside your footer widgets
  • Footer Layout – Choose from multiple layout presets. Each layout defines the number of visible widget columns and may include additional visual elements (such as separators or layout-specific styling)
  • Footer Width – Select between narrow and full-width
  • Footer Text – Add a custom message or copyright text displayed below the footer widgets

Note: The number of columns that appear in the front-end depends on the Footer Layout you choose. For example, a 2-column layout will only display widgets from Footer Column 1 and Footer Column 2.

To add social icons in the Footer Social Icons widget area, check How to Add Social Icons to Your Website.

To add an Instagram feed in the Footer Instagram Bar widget area check How to Add an Instagram Feed to the Footer.
