Inspiro Page Templates Overview

This article refers to Inspiro Premium

Inspiro Premium includes a variety of page templates designed to control the layout and display of your content. These templates are selectable in the Page Attributes panel when editing a page in WordPress.

Note: Page templates are not the same as templates or patterns used in Elementor or the Block Editor. Page templates are handled at the theme level and define the overall structure (e.g. slideshow, portfolio, sidebar), while builder templates define the content layout within the page editor.

Some templates listed in the dropdown may come from third-party plugins, such as Elementor or WooCommerce. These are not part of the Inspiro theme itself but are made available once the corresponding plugin is installed.

Default Template

Displays your content using the standard Inspiro layout with the header and footer. Includes the page title by default.

Inspiro Settings Available:
Click the black Inspiro Settings icon in the top toolbar of the block editor to access:

  • Container Width: Full (100%), Normal (1200px), or Narrow (950px)
  • Toggle Title: Show or hide the page title

Best used with: Block Editor

Displays the content area in full width and hides the page title. Ideal when creating a custom hero or intro with Elementor.

Best used with: Elementor or Block Editor

Same as above, but with a transparent header. Best suited for sections with video or full-width background images.

Best used with: Elementor or Block Editor

Full-width

Removes sidebars and displays content across the entire width of the container. Keeps the header and footer.

Best used with: Block Editor or Elementor

Homepage (With Slideshow)

Displays the built-in theme slideshow at the top of the page using posts from Slideshow → Add New. Content added to the page will appear below the slideshow.

This method is intended for users not using Elementor.
If you’re using Elementor, we recommend the Video Slideshow widget instead.

Best used with: Block Editor (non-Elementor)

Sidebar on the Right

Displays the page content with a right-hand sidebar, ideal for blogs or content-focused pages. Contents of the sidebar are added in Appearance → Widgets → Sidebar on the Right.

Best used with: Block Editor

Homepage (Widgetized)

Displays the content from the Homepage widget area (set in Appearance → Widgets). The page itself won’t display any content—you build it entirely with widgets.

Legacy Note: This is an older layout method, used in earlier Inspiro versions.
We no longer recommend this approach for new websites. Use a builder-based homepage instead.

Elementor Canvas

Completely blank layout with no header, footer, or theme styles. Ideal for full-screen landing pages built entirely in Elementor.

This template is added by Elementor, not by Inspiro.

Best used with: Elementor

Elementor Full Width

Full-width content layout that retains the theme header and footer. Ideal for wide content pages built in Elementor.

This template is added by Elementor, not by Inspiro.

Best used with: Elementor

Note: When using Elementor to build pages, you can change the page template directly from the Page Settings panel. Look for the Page Layout dropdown to select templates like Elementor Canvas, Elementor Full Width, or any theme-provided template.

Theme

Basic internal layout used by the theme. Similar to the Default Template, but with minor structural differences. Rarely used directly.

Best used with: Block Editor

Blank

Removes all theme elements (header, footer, sidebar). Offers a clean slate for custom HTML or shortcode-based layouts.

Best used with: Block Editor, manual HTML or shortcode pages

Portfolio Templates

The following templates are designed to display portfolio posts automatically, using the built-in Portfolio post type.

These templates don’t include content from the page editor. They fetch and display portfolio items automatically in various layouts.

When using these page templates, all the portfolio settings can be made in WPZOOM → Theme Options → Portfolio Options.

All the portfolio-related templates are best used with the block editor.
