Homepage Hero Area Configuration by Demo

Each Inspiro starter site uses a different approach for the homepage hero area. The table below shows which method each demo uses and how to customize it. For a general overview, see: Introduction to Inspiro’s Hero Area.

🎬 Elementor Video Slideshow Widget

These demos use the Video Slideshow widget in Elementor for a full-screen video hero with multiple slides. Edit your homepage with Elementor to customize the slides.

Block Editor with Cover Block

These demos use a Cover block in the Block Editor for the hero area with video background support. To switch to a video slideshow instead, change the page template to “Homepage (With Slideshow)” and add slideshow items.

Elementor — Static Hero (No Slideshow)

These demos use Elementor for the homepage with a static hero section (image, gradient, or custom layout — no video slideshow). To add a video slideshow, edit your homepage with Elementor and add the Video Slideshow widget at the top of the page.

Block Editor — Static Hero (No Slideshow)

These demos use the Block Editor with a static hero layout. To switch to a video slideshow, change the page template to “Homepage (With Slideshow)” and add slideshow items.

🎥 Built-in Theme Slideshow

These demos use the theme’s built-in video slideshow. The homepage uses the “Homepage (With Slideshow)” page template. Manage your slides from Slideshow → All Slides in the WordPress admin. See: How to Add Slideshow Items.
