How to Use the Footer Builder

This article refers to Inspiro Premium

Inspiro Premium includes a powerful Footer Builder that allows you to visually create and customize your website footer. You can control the layout structure, content placement, alignment, and styling directly from the Customizer.

1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Footer → Footer Options.

2. Enable the Enable Footer Builder option.

Once enabled, the Footer Builder interface will appear at the bottom of the Customizer screen.

The Footer Builder is organized into three horizontal sections: Top Row / Main Row / Bottom Row

Each row contains three columns: Column 1 / Column 2 / Column 3

On the right side, you’ll find the Available Elements panel.

You can drag elements from Available Elements into any area within any row. Elements can also be moved between rows and areas at any time.

Available Elements

Depending on your configuration, the Available Elements panel include:

  • Site Logo
  • Footer Menu
  • Social Icons
  • HTML/Shortcode
  • Copyright

To add an element, drag it into the desired column.

To remove an element, click the X icon. The element will return to Available Elements.

Configuring Row Layouts

Each row – Top, Main, Bottom – can have its own column structure.

To configure the layout:

1. Click the Columns icon in the Footer Builder toolbar.

2. In the Customizer panel, set:

  • Number of Columns
  • Column Proportions

Each row can use a different column configuration.

Columns Controls

Each footer column includes layout controls:

  • Vertical / Horizontal Layout Icon – Switch between stacked (vertical) or inline (horizontal) display of elements.
  • Alignment Icons – Align the content left, center, or right within that area.

Element Controls

Each element placed in the footer includes:

  • Gear Icon – Opens that element’s customization options in the Customizer panel.
  • X Icon – Removes the element and returns it to Available Elements.

Above the builder panel, you’ll find additional controls:

  • Colors – Opens footer color customization options (background, text, styling).
  • Columns – Opens row layout settings (columns and proportions).
  • Desktop / Tablet / Mobile Icons – Create different footer layouts for different devices.
  • Minimize Icon (Down Arrow) – Collapse the Footer Builder to preview changes more clearly.

Saving Your Changes

After finishing your setup, click Publish in the Customizer. Your footer layout and styling will be applied to your website.
