Inspiro – Adding a Portfolio Page or Section

This article refers to Inspiro Premium

In Inspiro Premium, you can create a portfolio page using:

💡 Before creating a portfolio page or section, it’s recommended to populate the Portfolio section with portfolio items. See more: How to add portfolio posts

With Elementor, you can create a portfolio page or section in two ways:

Steps 1-4 are similar for both methods. Follow the next steps depending on the method you wish to implement.

1. Install and activate the Elementor and WPZOOM Addons for Elementor plugins in Plugins → Add New. Skip this step if the plugins are already installed.

2. Create a new page in Pages → Add New.

3. Add a page title and in the Page Attributes → Template section, choose one of these page templates:

  • Full-width – Keeps the page title visible, great for structured layouts.
  • Page Builder (Without Title) – Removes the page title, offering a clean look with a basic header.
  • Page Builder (Transparent Header, Without Title) – Merges the header with the featured image for a modern, full-screen effect.

4. Click Publish, then Edit with Elementor.

Method 1: Using a pre-made template

5.1. Click the blue “W” icon (WPZOOM Library) in Elementor.

6.1. Select Inspiro Premium in the templates filter, choose the template you want to load, and click on Insert Template.

7.1. Click on the Portfolio Showcase widget on the page to customize the widget options in the left sidebar (Edit Portfolio Showcase).

8.1. Click Publish to save the changes and view the page.

Method 2: Building from scratch

5.2. Inside Elementor, find the Portfolio Showcase widget in the Elements panel.

6.2. Drag & drop the widget onto the page.

7.2. Click on the Portfolio Showcase widget on the page to customize the widget options in the left sidebar (Edit Portfolio Showcase).

8.2. Click Publish to save the changes and view the page.

1. Install and activate WPZOOM Portfolio in Plugins → Add New. Skip this step if the plugin is already installed.

2. Go to Portfolio → Portfolio Items, and add portfolio items. See more: How to add portfolio posts

3. Navigate to Portfolio → Portfolio LayoutsAdd New Portfolio Layout.

4. Customize the Portfolio block in the right sidebar and Publish.

5. Copy the shortcode and paste it into any page or post where you want to display the portfolio layout.

Alternatively, you can insert a portfolio section on any page or post with the built-in blocks available in the WPZOOM Portfolio plugin.

Simply click on the + sign to add a new block, search for Portfolio, and choose from the two options:

  • Portfolio – to insert a brand new portfolio section that can be configured directly in the post or page editor.
  • Portfolio Layout – to insert a portfolio layout previously created in the Portfolio Layouts section (steps 3-4).

Theme-Integrated Page Templates (Old Method)

💡 Best for users who want an automatically generated portfolio page without Elementor or blocks.

💡 Before creating a portfolio page or section, it’s recommended to populate the Portfolio section with portfolio items. See more: How to add portfolio posts

1. Create a new page in Pages → Add New, enter a title.

2. Under Page Attributes → Template, choose one of these templates:

  • Portfolio (Clean) – displays the portfolio items in a minimalist layout with spaces around thumbnails and a sorting filter that loads the posts on the same page.
  • Portfolio (Masonry) – displays portfolio items in a masonry grid layout.
  • Portfolio (Infinite Scroll) – uses a Load More button to load more items dynamically on the same page.
  • Portfolio (Sorting Effect) – displays all portfolio items with category-based sorting that loads posts on the same page.
  • Portfolio – adds page-based navigation, displaying a set number of items per page.

3. Click Publish—this page will automatically display all portfolio items from Portfolio → Portfolio Items.

4. Set up your portfolio page via WPZOOM → Theme Options → Portfolio Options, selecting the page you created at step 3 in the Portfolio Page dropdown.

Optional Customizations:

  • Add a Featured Image or content in the page editor to display text in the header on a background image.
