The AI Demo Generator builds a complete, one-of-a-kind demo website for you: describe the site you need, and AI designs and generates real pages, photos, a navigation menu and a matching color palette in about two minutes. Everything it creates is made of native WordPress blocks, so you can edit it exactly like any other content.
It is included free with the Inspiro Starter Sites plugin and works with both Inspiro Lite and Inspiro Premium.
The AI Demo Generator is currently in Beta. We are actively improving it, and we would love to hear your feedback.
The free Inspiro Starter Sites plugin (the generator lives in this plugin)
An email address, to unlock your free generations
Where you will find it depends on the theme you use:
Inspiro Lite — go to Inspiro → Import Demo. The generator is the dark panel at the top of the page.
Inspiro Premium — go to WPZOOM → Demo Importer. The generator appears at the top, above the starter sites. If you do not have the Inspiro Starter Sites plugin installed yet, you will see a banner there with a button that installs and activates it for you in one click.
Connecting your email
Before your first generation you will be asked to connect an email address. This is what unlocks your free generations, and it lets us keep the service fair and available for everyone.
Enter your email address and click Connect.
We send a 6-digit verification code to that address.
Enter the code to confirm, and you are ready to generate.
The newsletter checkbox is entirely optional — uncheck it if you prefer not to receive occasional WPZOOM news and offers. You can disconnect at any time from the same screen.
Generating your first demo
1. Describe your website
Type a short description of the website you need, for example:
“A website for a small coffee roastery in Portland that sells beans online and hosts tasting events.”
Two helpers are available here:
Enhance with AI — expands a short description into a richer brief, inventing fitting details such as a business name, a location and a few services. The result stays fully editable.
Need inspiration? View ideas — a list of ready-made example prompts you can use as a starting point.
2. Choose the look (or let AI decide)
Below the description you can pick a direction for the design. Every option also has a Let AI decide choice, which is a perfectly good default:
Design style — Minimal, Editorial, Big Type, Luxury, Corporate, Playful, Retro or Dark.
Typography — Modern Sans, Geometric, Expressive, Serif Accent or Classic Serif.
Color palette — your theme’s own palettes plus a set of modern, brighter ones. The palette you choose is also applied to the theme’s accent color, so the demo and your theme settings match.
3. Review the pages
The AI proposes a page structure based on your description — typically four to six pages. You can rename pages, remove the ones you do not need, or add your own before continuing. Nothing is created until you confirm this step.
4. Generation
Click Generate demo and the AI gets to work. This usually takes about two minutes: first it designs the site structure and writes the copy, then it builds each page, and finally it sets up your menu, footer and homepage.
Keep the browser tab open until the process finishes. When it is done you will see a summary of the pages that were created, with buttons to view your new site or open the pages in the editor.
What the AI creates
A generated demo is a complete, working website, not just a set of pages:
Pages — built entirely with native WordPress blocks (cover, columns, gallery, buttons, and so on), plus a stylesheet that gives the demo its unique look.
A navigation menu, assigned to your theme’s main menu location.
A homepage, set as your static front page.
Photos from Pexels, downloaded into your Media Library so they are yours to keep and edit.
Blog posts and a Blog page, when the site calls for them. The Blog page is assigned as your posts page, so it behaves like a normal WordPress blog.
Portfolio items with categories, when the site is portfolio-oriented. The free WPZOOM Portfolio plugin is installed automatically if needed.
A working contact form on the contact page. The free WPZOOM Forms plugin is installed automatically if needed.
Fonts — Google Fonts are downloaded and served from your own server, so your visitors’ browsers never connect to Google (GDPR-friendly).
Your theme’s accent color, updated to match the palette used by the demo.
WordPress’ default sample content (“Hello world!” post and “Sample Page”) is removed during generation, so your new site starts clean.
Writing a good description
The description is the single biggest factor in the quality of the result. A few tips:
Be specific about the business. “A boutique ceramics studio in Copenhagen that sells handmade tableware and runs weekend pottery classes” produces a far better site than “a shop”.
Mention what you offer. Two or three concrete services or product types give the AI real material for the pages.
Describe the mood if you have one in mind — “moody and cinematic”, “bright and playful”, “understated and editorial”.
Write in the language you want the site to be in. The copy is written in the same language as your description. A description written in English produces an English site, even if the business is in Berlin or Tokyo.
Do not worry about length. Two or three sentences are plenty. If you are short on ideas, use Enhance with AI.
Editing your demo
Everything the generator creates is standard WordPress content, so you edit it normally:
Open any page in the block editor and change text, swap images, reorder or delete sections — they are ordinary blocks.
Replace photos from your Media Library like any other image.
Section background and text colors are set as native block colors, so you can change them in the block sidebar.
Fonts, the accent color and other global options remain in Appearance → Customize.
Each generated demo carries its own stylesheet, which is what gives it a distinctive design. It only applies to the generated pages and does not affect the rest of your site.
Free generations, limits & Premium
Inspiro Lite includes 3 free AI demo generations.
Inspiro Premium, with an active license, includes 10 generations.
A few things worth knowing:
Your quota is tied to your email address, not to the website — reinstalling WordPress or moving to a new domain does not reset it.
If a generation fails, it is not counted against your quota.
To unlock the higher limit, install Inspiro Premium and activate your license under WPZOOM → License Key. The generator picks it up automatically.
The counter in the modal always shows how many generations you have used.
You can only have one AI demo active at a time — this keeps your site tidy and avoids duplicate pages and menus.
Generating a new demo
If you already have an AI demo, the generator shows a warning before it starts, with a checkbox (enabled by default) to delete the previous demo. Uncheck it if you would rather keep the old pages published alongside the new ones.
Important: deleting a demo permanently removes its pages, including any changes you made to them. If you have edited pages you want to keep, uncheck the box or back them up first.
Deleting a demo manually
Click the AI demo chip in the top-right corner of the generator panel, then choose to delete it. This removes the generated pages, the images that were downloaded for them, the menu, and resets your homepage setting.
Using AI demos together with Starter Sites
AI demos and the classic one-click Starter Sites can both be used on the same website, but not at the same time — they would create duplicate pages and menus. The plugin warns you in both directions:
Generating an AI demo when a starter site is already imported — the generator detects it (whether it was imported with the Inspiro Starter Sites plugin or with the Inspiro Premium demo importer) and offers to remove it as part of the generation.
Importing a starter site when an AI demo exists — a notice appears above the starter sites with a Delete AI Demo button, so you can clear it first with one click.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
I did not receive the verification code
Check your spam folder first. Codes can be re-sent once per minute — use the resend link on the verification screen. If nothing arrives at all, your website or mail provider may be blocking outgoing email; try connecting with a different address.
“Something went wrong” or “The AI returned a malformed response”
This happens occasionally when the AI response cannot be read correctly. Simply try again — the failed attempt is not counted against your quota. If it keeps happening, try shortening or rephrasing your description.
The generation stopped or the page timed out
Generation takes about two minutes and the browser tab must stay open. On very slow or restricted hosting the request can be cut short; try again, and if it persists, contact your host about PHP execution time limits and outgoing HTTP requests.
“You have used all your free AI generations”
You have used the generations included with your plan. Inspiro Lite includes 3, and Inspiro Premium with an active license includes 10. See Free generations, limits & Premium above.
My site was generated in the wrong language
The copy follows the language of your description, not the location of the business. To get a site in your language, write the description in that language.
Can I use the AI demo with Elementor?
No. AI demos are built with native WordPress blocks and are edited in the block editor. If you prefer Elementor, use the classic Starter Sites, which include Elementor versions.
Can I generate just one page instead of a whole site?
Not currently — the generator always creates a complete website. You can, of course, delete any pages you do not need afterwards.
Do I own the generated content and images?
Yes. The text and layout are yours to use and modify freely, and the photos come from Pexels under a license that allows free commercial use.
