Inspiro Lite Page Templates Explained

Inspiro Lite includes several page templates that change how an individual page is laid out — whether the page title shows, whether the Featured Image appears as a banner, whether the top menu is transparent or solid, and whether content is boxed or full‑width.

You pick a template when editing a page: in the block editor, open the Page tab in the right sidebar → Template. (In the Classic editor it’s the Page Attributes → Template box.)

Quick comparison

When to use each

• Default — Your everyday page. Shows the page title and, if you’ve set a Featured Image, displays it as a large header banner with the menu overlapping it. Best for written content pages.
• Full‑width (Page Builder) — The same as Default (title + Featured Image banner) but the content area spans the full width of the screen. Choose this when you build the body with Elementor, Beaver Builder, or full‑width blocks yet still want the theme’s title and Featured Image header on top.
• Page without title — A clean, boxed page with no title and no Featured Image banner. Good when your content already includes its own heading and you want the standard centered column.
• Page Builder (Without Page Title) — Full‑width and title‑free, with a normal solid header. The go‑to template for a page you design entirely in a page builder while keeping a visible, solid menu bar.
• Page Builder (Transparent Header, Without Title) — Full‑width and title‑free, but the menu is transparent and overlaps the first section. Use it when your first section is a full‑screen image, video, or slider that should appear behind the menu.
• Homepage (Without Hero Area) — Designed for a page you set as your site’s front page (Settings → Reading). Full‑width, no title, solid header — the first section starts cleanly below the menu.
• Homepage (Page Builder) — Also for a front page, but with a transparent header so a full‑screen first section shows through behind the menu.

Tip: The two “Homepage” templates are meant for the page you’ve assigned as your static front page under Settings → Reading → Your homepage displays → A static page.

About the Featured Image banner

Only the Default and Full‑width (Page Builder) templates display the Featured Image as a header banner. The other templates never show it — so a Featured Image you set there is still saved (and used for SEO and social sharing previews) but won’t appear at the top of the page.

You can control the banner in two places:

• Globally: Appearance → Customize → Page Settings → “Display Featured Image in Page Header.” Turn it off to stop the banner from appearing on all pages. The same section also has “Featured Image Height in Posts and Pages” (Fixed height or Fullscreen).
• Per page: In the page editor, open the Page Settings panel and toggle “Hide Featured Image.” This hides the banner on that one page only, while keeping the image set for SEO/social.

Tip: To keep the title but drop only the banner on the Default template, leave the template as Default and use Hide Featured Image (and/or Hide Page Title) in the Page Settings panel — no need to switch to a no‑title template.
