Indigo — Page Templates

This article refers to Indigo

Indigo includes several page templates that change a page’s layout. Select one in the page settings sidebar, under Template:

Template Purpose
Default template Standard page with the sidebar
Full-width Page No sidebar — content spans the full width
Blog Turns the page into the blog listing — see Blog & Category Layouts
Archives An automatic archive index: monthly archives and categories
Homepage: Magazine A magazine-style front page with the slider — for a static front page setup
Homepage: Magazine (Full-width) The same, without the sidebar
Page Builder (Without Page Title) A blank canvas with no page title — made for Elementor and other page builders

Using the Magazine templates as your front page

  1. Create a page (e.g. Home) and assign Homepage: Magazine or Homepage: Magazine (Full-width).
  2. Go to Settings → Reading, set Your homepage displays to A static page, and select it as Homepage.

By default Indigo works with the latest posts homepage instead — the Magazine templates are the alternative for static front page setups. See Setting Up the Homepage.
