The layout from the following image of the homepage in the demo was created using the free plugin Unyson, that includes a Page Builder extension.
Delicio includes several Page Templates which you can use to create different page layouts. The layout for pages Homepage, About and Contact from the demo can be easily imported on your site after installing the Page Builder extension.
Recommended Plugins (free)
Social Icons Widget – free plugin that allows you to create a list of your social profiles. You’ll need it to add social icons in the top menu bar.
Instagram Widget – another free plugin created by us which you can use to add a gallery with your latest Instagram photos.
Jetpack – a free plugin that includes numerous features that you can active to add extra functionalities in the theme. Recommended features to activate: Custom Content Types, Sharing Buttons, Related Posts, Tiled Galleries, Carousel.
Restaurant Reservations – Accept restaurant reservations and table bookings online.
Unyson Page Builder – a free plugin that includes a Page Builder extensions, which you can use to create different page layouts, like the front page from the demo.
Customize Colors, Logo, Fonts and other
To Customize different elements of the theme, go to the Appearance > Customizer page.
Add Reservations Form
In order to accept and manage table bookings on your site directly, you’ll need to install the free Restaurant Reservations plugin. Once installed, create a new page where you want to display the Reservations form, and then select this page in the plugin’s settings page under Bookings > Settings.

How to Change Logo, Colors and Fonts.
In Delicio theme many options can be changed and customized from Theme Customizer. You can access the Customizer from Themes Page.
In Logo you can upload your own logo image or change site background.
In Header Layout you can select to hide the menu or the hamburger icon.
In Footer you can change the number of widget columns in the Footer.
How to use the Page Builder
In order to activate the Page Builder, you’ll need to install the Unyson plugin, which is available for free.
After installing the theme, you’ll see a message at the top that offers to install and activate the plugin quickly:
Install the plugin and Activate it.
After that a new section called Unyson will appear in the dashboard menu:
Go to the Unyson page, and install the Page Builder extension.
Now you can use the Page Builder when you create or edit pages.

Set-up Homepage Slideshow
To add a new image in the Homepage Slideshow, go to Slideshow > Add New and create a new post with more details for each individual slide:
More options for the slideshow can be found in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Slider:
Add Sharing Buttons, Related Posts, Tiled Galleries and other Jetpack Features
Numerous features can be added quickly in the theme from Jetpack Plugin: Tiled Galleries, Related Posts, Extra Sidebar Widgets, etc.

Here’s how you can create a Tiled Mosaic Gallery:
To add widgets in the widgetized location, like Sidebar, you’d need to access Appearance -> Widgets menu, and drag widgets to your Sidebar to activate them.

How do I change summary content (Excerpt) for a post?
On editing page of a post, look for a field called Excerpt. You can add here summaries for your posts each time you want to adjust manually the length of text which appears in Slider, Recent Articles, Post Archives or when you simply want to have a different text than the automatically picked excerpt.
How can I change the number of posts on homepage?
- Go to Settings > Reading
- Find Blog pages show at most option, and change the number of posts.
