Sharing buttons let visitors post your content to Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other networks. There are three ways to add them to a WPZOOM theme.
Several WPZOOM themes include sharing buttons already. Look in WPZOOM → Theme Options → Single Post Options for a Sharing Buttons section, where you can switch them on and, in some themes, edit each button’s label.
Check your theme’s documentation in the WPZOOM Documentation to see whether it has this option.
Our free WPZOOM Connect — Social Icons Widget & Sharing Buttons plugin adds both:
Install it from Plugins → Add New by searching for WPZOOM Connect, then configure it from its settings page. You can choose which networks appear, the icon style, and where the buttons show up.
If you need advanced features — share counts, floating bars, analytics — a dedicated plugin is the way to go. Search for “social sharing” under Plugins → Add New and pick one that’s actively maintained and compatible with your WordPress version.
A note on networks: the social landscape changes. Twitter is now X, and Google+ shut down in 2019 — so if you’re following an older tutorial that mentions Google+ buttons, that network no longer exists. Any actively maintained plugin will keep its network list current for you.
