Introducing Yamidoo: The Support Chat We Built for Ourselves, Now for Your Site

Introducing Yamidoo, the AI support chat we built for wpzoom.com

If you’ve clicked “Chat with us!” in the corner of wpzoom.com and asked a question, you were talking to Yamidoo. We built it for our own support first, and today it’s a product: an AI support chat that answers your visitors from your own pages and hands the conversation to a person the moment someone asks for one. Why we built it and the numbers from wpzoom.com so far are on the Yamidoo blog.

What Changes on wpzoom.com

Nothing, on your side. The chat stays where it is and works the way it has: ask a question and you get an answer in seconds from our documentation or the right page on this site, with a link to where it came from. Ask for a person and someone from the team takes over in the same window. If nobody is online, leave your email and we follow up.

A real answer on wpzoom.com, with the documentation page it came from linked underneath.

We read every answer that gets a thumbs down. When one shows a gap in our documentation, we write the missing page, so the next visitor with the same question finds it on the site.

If You Want It on Your Own Site

It does on your site what it does on ours, and the setup is short: create a free account, point Yamidoo at your site, and it reads your pages and answers from them.

The last step is putting the chat on the site, and there are two ways. On WordPress, the free WordPress plugin does it in one click: install it from wordpress.org, click Connect to Yamidoo, and you come back with the site connected and the chat live, nothing edited in your theme, the chat kept clear of caching and optimization plugins. Anywhere else, paste one script tag.

If you run a WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads store, your team sees the customer’s orders and subscriptions next to the conversation (licenses too, on Easy Digital Downloads). A second switch, off by default, lets logged-in customers ask about their own account.

The free plan covers 50 conversations a month, with no credit card and no expiry date; paid plans start when you outgrow that.

Check What Your Site Already Answers

Not sure your site has the answers? Run the free scan: enter your site’s address, it reads a handful of your public pages and, about ten seconds later, lists what your visitors are likely to ask and which of those questions your pages already answer. Nothing is installed and no account is needed.
