Today we’d like to present you the new version of our first theme ever released: Yamidoo Magazine 2.0.

Demo Theme Info

Yamidoo Magazine 2.0 finally was ported to our ZOOM Framework which already includes a dozen of features, but we didn’t hesitate to pack the new version also with unique features, like:

Re-designed

First thing you’ll notice when you’ll open the demo page of the new version is a slight redesign of the theme, but not a complete one. We tried to keep the same feel and structure of the previous version, but most of the visual elements have been polished: custom fonts, widget styling, posts layout.

Footer Widgets

This thing was requested by many of our customers for a long time, and we’ve finally created a widgetized area in the footer of theme, which includes 3 widget columns. Beside this we’ve also included in the theme new widgets, like: Latest Tweets, Facebook Fan Box, Social Profiles.

Responsive Layout

Thanks to the adjustment we’ve made to the new version, it was possible to also make the theme’s layout responsive, so it automatically adapts to any screen resolution on desktop and mobile devices.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THUMBNAILS
The new version doesn’t uses TimThumb script to crop thumbnails. It now uses the native WordPress cropping tool. In case thumbnails on your site look stretched after update, please install and run the Regenerate Thumbnails plug-in which will fix this problem.
