We have two big announcements for you today! After a few months of development we’re finally launching our new WPZOOM Framework, which includes a re-designed theme options backend and entirely re-written code. Together with this we’re also releasing a new theme called Pulse in our collection, which is first theme that runs on the new Framework.
Pulse
Theme Features
- 5 Color Schemes
- Unique Video Widget
- Archives Template
- Widgetized Homepage
- 7 Custom Widgets
- Shortcode Manager
Multiple Styles
The theme has several additional styles, which can be easily activated anytime you want from Theme Options:

Unique Widgets
This themes has 7 Custom Widgets, one of them is Video Widget, which helps you create a Video Section in widgetized areas on the homepage or any other page.

Unique Video Widget
WPZOOM Framework
WPZOOM Framework includes a brand new theme options backend with much more features than the previous options panel.
Here’s a walk-trough video to show you how the new WPZOOM Framework looks:
Watch in HD/Full-screen for better quality
Beside the re-designed theme options backend, our WordPress monster Nicolae Vartolomei, whom I thank a lot, has also re-written entirely the code for Framework which is now much better organized, readable and well commented.
The navigation menu from the theme options has been designed to match the WordPress look and feel, and is fully AJAX-driven, which means that you can navigate through different sections instantly, without the need to wait for each page to load.
I would also like to highlight the most useful features of the new Framework:
Logo uploader
You can easily change the logo image of your site directly from theme options, using logo uploader. There’s also an uploader for favicon icon.

Logo Uploader
Import & Export
Now you can develop your site safely on your local computer or on a test server, and using the Import & Export feature you can export your options to another installation of the same theme with copy and paste.

Import & Export Settings
One-click update
The new Framework also includes a one-click update feature, so you can update your Framework directly from WordPress Dashboard anytime we’ll release new features or tweaks.

Check out the live demo or theme’s page for more information.
What’s your feeling about this new options panel? We’d be happy to hear your opinion in the comments.

Really nice framework/options updates Pavel. Looks very well thought-out.

Lovely design and nicely matching to WordPress UI.
Will you add nivo slider shortcode to Videozoom WordPress Theme ?
It’s really missing in that theme.
It would be very handy if you can add sliding video capability there.
October 11, 2011 7:32 pm
Videzoom theme already has a built-in slider. Why would you need another nivo slider in it?

Looks awfully like WooTheme’s framework. Inspired much?
October 11, 2011 7:34 pm
Thanks for you appreciation. Unfortunately it was inspired from WordPress backend, not from WooFramework.

Hello! I would like to know if this new feature is part of the cadabrapress theme? I’m planning to buy it if it has this new framework.
November 7, 2011 9:02 pm
The new Framework wasn’t yet added to CadabraPress theme, but it will be added in the future.

Very cool to see a new framework. I’m very close to purchasing your Vimes theme. Just wondering if there is any news on if and when that theme will be able to use the framework.
Was also wondering why there aren’t things like tabs, toggles, & tables shortcodes in wp-zoom themes? I thought these were commonly used and requested features these days. Would be awesome to see them added.
Anyway, nice work and nice to see the framework. Hopefully it gets integrated into prior themes.
