I am getting the following error when adding a Featured Image to a Post:

A TimThumb error has occured

The following error(s) occured:
Could not create the file cache directory.

Query String : src=http://onesport.joshrachner.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/isdc_logo.png&w=300&h=180&zc=1&a=c
TimThumb version : 2.8

The image is already uploaded and can be linked to.

Thoughts?
I solved this issue by editing timthumb.php and changing the cache directory to empty string (so that it uses the sytem cache folder).
thx man, you have saved my day!

i´ve been working on the issue since 3 days.
it works!

should be added to the thumbnail-troubleshooting!

wp: 3.3.1
theme: onPlay
btw, the folders at the onPlay tutorial are wrong

    /wp-content/themes/[YOUR-THEME-NAME]/scripts/
dont exists.

its located in
    /wp-content/themes/onplay/functions/wpzoom/components

You said you solved this issue by changing the cache directory to an empty string. What would this look like code-wise?
PM me your admin and FTP login and I will fix this for you.
Just fixed this issue, actually. It ended up being a permissions issue. Thank you for your response!
