Using WordPress as a Portfolio: Examples & Themes (15+)

Some time ago I published an article for those passionate about photography. But today I decided to collect some themes for those who wish to publish his Portfolio on-line through WordPress.

    Htoo Tay Zar, take a look to some themes from this article. There are some themes without sidebars. Maybe you will find one for you ;)

    Thanks for the interesting examples. It gave me an idea for a portfolio for my blog as a single themed article. But can you incorporate the layouts within the theme you allready have?

    Really nice compilation, but I found one more on http://vivee.info/2008/11/04/portfolio-graficzne-oparte-o-wordpress-przy-uzyciu-custom-fields/ . Shame it’s only in polish and it lacks documentation, but I was able to use it (it uses custom fields to store adreses to your portfolio pictures).

    WordPress is a great tool for online writers. It’s simple and yet is such a pleasure to use. Yes, there are things that need to be improved but WordPress being an open source software, you can expect continuous improvements on it by the community.

    Nice list… too bad all the ones that can separate “portfolio” posts from “blog” posts are all premium/paid themes. Thats what I’m really looking for… might be time to pony up and pay for a theme :)

    They are great designs, but I imagine most designers will create their own variation.

    But for the non-designers, you can now turn any theme into a portfolio by using the WP Portfolio plugin:
